New 2014 Motorola Moto X UK release date

Although Motorola's told us its updated Moto X would go on sale in the UK via Amazon from the end of September, the online retail giant has a release date of 7 October for the black resin model and 15 October for the black leather alternative.

However, Clove now has the black resin model in stock with black leather expected on 3 October and bamboo on 13 October. The Moto Maker is now live on Motorola's website but you'll have to wait a little while for your customised phone to be made and delivered.

The Motorola Moto X will cost £419.99 for the 16GB model and £459.99 for 32GB in the UK. Moto Maker is also finally making its way to the UK with the new Moto X, which allows you to have a custom-designed case with a leather, wood or plastic rear, as well as choose various software options.
